We are Jill Ross Nadler and Kenny Mikey, founders of Page Turner Adventures. Our virtual and live shows combine storytelling + clowning + theater to promote language arts, growth mindset, and social-emotional skills. Our video programming has been used in thousands of schools around the country, and we’ve created content for PBS, FOX Kids, the Travel Channel, and Scholastic.
Our one-of-a-kind family shows tour nationally and internationally including: The Delaware Grand Opera House, The Wolf Trap Children’s Theatre-in-the-Woods, The Kravis Center, and the Danny Kaye Theater. We’ve also performed internationally in Canada, the Bahamas, China, and Hong Kong.
Truth be told, we have been around for quite some time (almost twenty years!) and we’ve picked up a few awards along the way (don’t worry, we put them back). The ones that actually belong to us include: an Emmy, a couple of Tellys, a National iParenting Media Award, and two Communicators. But our biggest reward comes from the pleasure of a good tale well told, and the smiles on kids’ faces when they get lost in a story… okay, the big shiny “paperweights” are nice too.
We partnered with Delray Beach’s Old School Square, a nationally recognized arts center and historic site, this summer to create, film, edit, and package a multi-themed Virtual Summer Reading program. We had so much fun with it, we decided to keep the cameras rolling to create exciting new content for the school year. In our continued partnership with Old School Square, they not only play host to the virtual presentations’ filming as a location, but also supply technical staffing and theatrical equipment for the ongoing series.
