Kenny Mikey – Head Honcho
Kenny is a former Ringling Bros. circus clown who knows that the best way to educate and motivate children is through humor. His commitment to teaching through laughter led him to co-found Page Turner Adventures. Together, Kenny and Riley have made children all over the world laugh with their outrageous, educational children’s television programs and live shows. Kenny also relies heavily on his sense of comedic timing as a producer and editor. Whether he’s acting, editing, directing, or producing, Kenny simply understands kids because he really is just a big kid himself!
Riley Roam – Big Cheese
For as long as Riley can remember, she’s had a passion for stories. She began her career as a professional storyteller, but her interest in educational entertainment led her to work as an Emmy winning writer, producer and host for FOX Kids. Riley and Kenny created Page Turner Adventures to combine storytelling, circus skills, physical comedy, education and television into unique productions that engage, inspire, and entertain children across multiple platforms. She is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and illustrators, and is the author of The Great Pizza Contest, a children’s book and live stage show.
Dean Lyon – Visual Effects Artist
Dean can honestly say he has worked with superheroes, prehistoric animals and aliens. He transformed a small Chihuahua into a talking sensation, and wiped the mist of a waterfall from a hobbit’s face. He has collaborated with cutting edge directors from around the world and has contributed to hundreds of commercials, music videos, televisions shows and feature films. Some of his better known projects include Independence Day, Armageddon, Air Force One, Without a Paddle, Ice Age and The Lord of the Rings. He is an expert in making the unbelievable seem real.
Jim Hammond – Scenic, Prop & Puppet Arts Director
Jim holds an M.A, in Puppet Arts Design from the University of Connecticut. He’s a New York native who enjoyed six years as part of the puppet department of the National Broadway Tour of The Lion King. Jim has also produced theatrical events & festivals, as well as designed puppets, masks, and props for clients such as New World Symphony, Broward Center for the Performing Arts abd Florida Grand Opera. In 2010, Jim was a finalist for the South Florida Mastermind Award in recognition of his innovation in the arts of South Florida and has won multiple Individual Artist Grants.
Larry DeCarmine – Music Composer
Larry has extensive experience in film sound and music production. His film credits include Malcolm X, He Got Game and Clockers. He’s also worked with some of the top stars in the music industry, such as Celine Dion, Lenny Kravitz, Ricky Martin and Julio Iglesias. One of his best-known projects was working on Nickelodeon’s Gullah Gullah Island, which instilled in him a passion for children’s TV early on. We’re glad to add Larry’s talent, dedication, originality and playful vibe to our team!
