Page Turner Adventures’ Northern Tour

Wow! We just returned from a whirlwind tour of the North. It was lovely getting to see the trees change, and meeting so many wonderful kids, teachers, principals, administrators, parents, and theater presenters. We performed in schools and theaters in NY, Maryland, Massachusetts, and Delaware, and had a chance to showcase at the Ohio Arts Presenters Network. At the very end of the tour, we performed The Great Pizza Contest show at the Franklin Early Childhood Center in Hewlett, NY. For the first time ever, all the kids made their own mustaches from directions on our website and they all brought them to the show!!! It was hilarious to look out into the crowd and see hundreds of little mustachioed faces grinning back at us. I’m sad that I don’t have a picture, you’ll just have to imagine it.

Touring is fun, but it’s also good to be home. Now we switch gears (cue screeching tire sound effect) and finish up a bunch of video projects.

About to head on stage at the Dupont Theater

Jean Oliverio from The Cattaraugus/Allegany BOCES in Western, NY. Had a chance to see all the 4th and 5th graders in these two counties. They were awesome, as were the teachers and administrators who “volunteered” to get a pie in the face!

At the beautiful 100-year-old Dupont Theater in Wilmington, Delaware. Two sold out shows of 1200 kids. Such a great crowd and an amazing staff and crew.

After weeks of chain hotels, it was a pleasure to stay at a B&B in Olean, NY. And perfect for us, it's called The Old Library Inn!
